I am actually taking students again although I’ve been keeping things very limited for the time being and have only started two new traders since the March crash. The markets have pretty much settled into a “new normal” now without the extreme volatility we were seeing back in March/April so my trading and our classes are going along as usual.

One thing worth mentioning though is that as far as training and learning to trade the Emini S&P 500 go, doing so from Australia can be quite difficult. As you’re no doubt aware I trade during the prime US market hours, particularly in the mornings from 9:30AM EST to 11:30AM EST which can be a very difficult time zone shift for many to trade from Australia.

That’s not to say it’s impossible though if your schedule allows and you are something of a “night owl”. I know Australian traders personally that have traded US markets for years and back when I started as a trader I also worked for years trading largely overnight, albeit trading Forex during European hours while living on the west coast of North America. I actually really liked the late night schedule but it’s not for everyone and over time my increased focus on the Emini S&P 500 naturally moved me into a more regular US morning schedule.
