Yeah Ritch, totally understand where you’re coming from about changing your approach and worrying what the result might be. I spent a lot of time thinking about that myself years ago when moving away from my multi-screen Forex setup. It’s worth noting though that just like anything else in trading you can always test first. So if you’re determined to simplify a bit and reduce information flow then do some system development with simplicity as the end goal (one screen, few charts, few indicators, etc). You’ll probably find that if you go into development with the framework of what you want to achieve in mind that you’ll realize it pretty quickly and then you can test and slowly transition more and more of your live trading into your newly streamlined approach. Being ambitious and wanting more than just financial rewards from trading is something I think is really important to long term success so your desire to travel while trading is a good one. Just watch out on the beach though as laptops and sand don’t really mix all that well. I know this from personal experience, unfortunately. Haha.
